Anika Perkins
A seasoned real estate professional, Anika Mitchell Perkins values the trust her clients place in her. She attributes her success to repeat business and positive referrals from friends, coworkers, family and neighbors. Perkins is grateful for their support.
Outside real estate, she currently serves as the executive director of university relations at Mississippi University of Women.
Perkins also is an alumna of The W, earning her journalism and public relations degree from the university in 1993. In December 2017, she obtained her master's degree in journalism and mass communication with a concentration in public relations from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.
She also takes pride in giving back to the community. Perkins currently serves as a board member for Main Street Columbus and BankFirst Financial Services. She is active in the Nu Epsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and is a former board member of the Boys & Girls Club of the Golden Triangle.
She is married to Pete Perkins and they have twin daughters, Kelsey and Kennedy. They are members of Southside M.B. Church, Inc.
