Donald Smith
Don is a lifelong resident of Maryland, was born in Washington, D. C. and raised in Prince George County, Maryland. He may be one of the rare and few "Locals" to the "DMV." Don's professional career began in heavy construction estimating, construction management, land development and residential multi-family home building. His career path logically led him into Residential Real Estate Brokerage in 1992 when he became an Owner/Broker of a National Real Estate Franchise. Described by his collegues as a "relaxed professional", Don's success in real estate brokerage has been the product of his committment to sharing his knowledge, experience, caring and compassion with his clients and Realtor Partners alike. Don joined Century 21 Redwood Realty on November, 2016 to become the Executive Vice President and Managing Broker of their Gaithersburg Maryland Office. Don retired from Brokerage Management and is now devoting his time to the real estate needs of his long time clients. Don and his wife met in middle school (Went to the1st Beatles Concert at Shea Stadium), married in 1970, and they have been "a couple" for 52 years. They are the proud parents to 4 children and grandparents to 10 amazing grandchildren! Don loves to visit his children around the Country and, when possible, put his "Toes in the Sand" on SC Beaches.
