Upon graduating from Eastern Illinois University, Richard joined The Gerber State Bank, Argenta, IL putting in over thirty-five years of experience in their farm management department. When he retired from the bank, he stayed involved in Farm Management with his family\342\200\231s farm and assisting others with their farms. In 2019, realizing he missed working with the landowners and operators on a daily basis, Richard decided to start a new business \342\200\224 \342\200\234Heritage Farm Assistance, LLC.\342\200\235 This business focuses on what the owners want out of their land and how these goals can be achieved by working together (landowner, farm tenant, and farm manager). His Real Estate Brokers License was obtained in June 2020. He is an Associate member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers working towards his Farm Manager Accreditation.
