LOCATION

The property is situated in Playa Hermosa, Garabito, Puntarenas, at the summit of the first foothill, at an elevation of 650 feet. It offers a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean that is uninterrupted in every direction. In the other vista, which encompasses a full 180 degrees, the jungle extends all the way down to Quebrada Salto and then climbs up to the next peak. A total of 26,000 square meters, or 6.4 acres, make up the lot, which extends from Quebrada Salto, which is located on the jungle side, to the middle of the foothill, which is located on the Pacific Ocean side.

HOMES

The main house, the guest house, and the caretaker house are the three residences that are encompassed within the boundaries of the property.

The main home has a total interior space of 303 square meters (3,260 square feet) and is divided into two levels. The first level features an open floor plan that includes a living area, dining area, and kitchen area. Additionally, there is a full bathroom and a laundry room on the first level. On the second level, there are three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. 368 square meters (3.960 square feet) of space is comprised of patios that wrap the entirety of the first level and one-half of the second level.

There is a living/dining area, kitchen, laundry, two bedrooms, and one complete bathroom throughout the guest home, which has a total interior size of 100 square meters (1,076 square feet) and is located on a single floor. The living part of the guest home is located below an indoor garage that can accommodate two vehicles. A living area, kitchen, three small bedrooms, and one small full bathroom are all included in the caretaker house, which has a total space of 60 square meters (646 square feet). A member of the caretaker’s family resides on the property around the clock.

OTHER FEATURES

- The property features a 60 m2 (646 sq ft) swimming pool with a long infinity edge overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
- A 56 solar panel ground array (14.6 kW) was added pursuant to an ICE pilot program that has resulted in electric bills for the main house and the guest house of around $5/month.
- Extensive gardens are located throughout the property with walking paths leading to a sitting area overlooking the Pacific Ocean (the Mirador). An irrigation system is located throughout the garden areas.
- A concrete road leads from the end of Calle Conga (which is a public road) up to the property. The private road is approximately 2 km in length.
- The property’s approved water supply, , is served by a well 173.5 m deep. A new pump and new tubing were installed in 2022.
