Born and raised in Redlands. After graduating from the University of Southern California, Ann spent 9 years as a stockbroker with several New York Stock Exchange Members and with the Bank of America Trust Department. Returned to Redlands with her family in 1978 and purchased Hockridge Florist which she owned and managed until 1989.
Ann then joined her mother\342\200\231s (Lois Lauer) company Century 21 Lois Lauer Realty where her husband Vaughn was President. She began as Relocation and Advertising Director and was already a Corporate Board member. Century 21 Lois Lauer Realty now has offices in Redlands and Yucaipa and more than 100 licensed Realtors. Today, Ann is co-manager of the main branch in Redlands. In addition, she is an active agent with a thriving clientele.
Ann is active in the community, spearheading the company\342\200\231s charitable giving. She serves on the Board of the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Redlands and is active with the Redlands Symphony. She received the Woman of Distinction Award in 2002 from the Inland Empire Magazine and Town and Gown\342\200\231s A Woman\342\200\231s Place is Everyplace Award in 2001. She was Redlands Woman of the Year for 2015. The Los Angeles Times awarded Ann and her husband, Vaughn, the Inland Empire Philanthropist of the Year Award in 2001.
Ann has been married to Vaughn for since 1972 and has a daughter, Kristin Pierce, and 2 grandsons, Jameson & Camden.
