A graduate of the UNC- Chapel Hill School of Business, Alex began his real estate career in 1973. In 1978, he completed post- baccalaureate courses in accounting and earned the Certificate in Management Accounting (CMA). Having been involved in property remodeling, he sat for and passed the NC General Contractor\342\200\231s Licensing exams.
Alex\342\200\231s sports interest is boating. Alex served as 2011 Commodore for the Peninsula Yacht Club on Lake Norman.
