Realtor at Heart

Since earning my Real Estate license in 2001, I have been full-time Realtor in the Sacramento region, closing more than 700 homes during my career. Clients describe me as professional, caring, trustworthy, and enthusiastic. I believe it\342\200\231s my heartfelt passionate and robust experience that separates me from other agents in the industry and what leads to each of my clients having exceptional home buying and home selling experiences. It\342\200\231s quite remarkable helping people achieve their dreams \342\200\223 whether it\342\200\231s buying their first home or selling their fifth, or if it\342\200\231s helping them invest in real estate to build wealth and security. I am part of people\342\200\231s lives when they get married, have children, become empty-nesters, and even when they divorce or lose a loved one; and, because of that, I have built beautiful lifelong relationships with many wonderful people throughout my career.

A Growing Business

More than 85% of my business each year comes from either someone who knows and trusts me, or someone who has already done business with me and wants to do business with me again, or the family members and friends to whom I am referred by the forementioned. My goal is to continue growing a repeat and referral business, earning the recommendations of people who appreciate and find value in my level of expertise, integrity, and clear communication.

How It Began

What a gift that I get to share my work and personal life with my family by my side! When I started in real estate, I was following the footsteps of my father, Ron Murphy, a real estate Broker and my partner on The Murphy Team. In 2014, we were joined by my cousin Michelle Benner, a Realtor and Buyers Specialist. Furthermore, my sister Melissa Carson is a Loan Consultant and Branch Owner of American Pacific Mortgage, and my aunt Stacey Gwiazdon is a Senior Escrow Officer at Fidelity Title. Both frequently work with our clients and provide exceptional service. And, it would be an injustice if I didn\342\200\231t recognize my mother Linda Murphy, who is the village that every working mom needs in her corner \342\200\223 who will pick up my kids in a moment\342\200\231s notice and do my household chores while waiting for me to get home!

Giving Back

I\342\200\231ve sat on many boards and volunteered for a variety of local charities and organizations, namely Easter Seals and Make-A-Wish Foundation. I currently serve on the Advisory Committee for YMCA Rollingwood where I focus on Board Development. I\342\200\231ve coached for Fair Oaks Soccer Club and Fair Oaks Orangevale Little League. A portion of every commission earned by The Murphy Team goes into a community fund, where we support The Salvation Army, the Sacramento Children\342\200\231s Home\342\200\231s Fill-A-Backpack Drive, The Select Group\342\200\231s Annual Life Jacket Drive to Save A Life, our local food banks, and more.

On A Personal Note

I start most mornings working out or practicing yoga, then it\342\200\231s off the work when the kids go to school. At the end of a busy workday, I return to my home in Fair Oaks, where Matt and I are raising four adventurous boys. At home, I find joy in cooking, playing with the kids, and taking long walks along the American River Parkway behind our house. In between appointments on the weekends, you\342\200\231ll usually find me cheering on the boys on the sidelines of a sports field or sharing a glass of wine with a friend. And those rare times when the cards fall just right, when there are no client needs and no life commitments, we get away for a day trip or a long weekend doing the things we love: camping, hiking, fishing, kayaking/paddleboarding, riding quads, or just exploring a new town or one we\342\200\231ve already welcomed into our hearts.

Born and raised in Sacramento, I am incredibly passionate about the region \342\200\223 home to high-density trees, the Farm to Fork Capital, and a place where outdoor activities can be enjoyed year-round \342\200\223 not to mention the endless road trips at our fingertips to world renown cities like Lake Tahoe, Napa, Capitola, and more
