My name is Kim Finlan and I love my town! Chico has been my home since the 90s when I moved here from the Bay Area to finish my degree at Chico State. I received a BA in music education and went on to teach high school music for five years at Orland High School. I left that position to stay at home and raise a family. I became interested in real estate a few years after that when I personally began to pursue investment properties. I experienced the highs and lows that can come with searching for just the right property. Having also owned and sold two houses that I called home, these personal experiences help me to relate more to my clients as they buy and sell homes and other real estate. My first professional experience in the real estate industry was working as a transaction coordinator for a year for four of Chico's top real estate agents. I put together and closed over 50 escrow files during that time. I received my real estate license in 2014 and have added closed sales and listings to my profile. My approach as a real estate professional is to serve and listen to my clients, and to work hard. I truly care about the goals and concerns of each of my clients, and I love the relationships my clients and I build together as we work side by side. I stay on top of the latest technologies, think outside of the box, and don't just do the "minimum" techniques that are used to help people buy or sell a home. My goals for my clients are that they feel like they are my only client and that our communication is impeccable. I also want to strive to understand their wants and needs and then deliver. I want them to feel like I am truly on their team and putting them as #1! I look forward to sharing in people's lives, making new friends and truly helping people achieve their dreams.
