Originally from New England, I moved to Florida to escape the cold dark winters. After getting my BS in psychology and studying post traumatic stress disorder, I worked for an environmental company as an estimator for large scale industrial projects. The skills required in both of these markets were customer service and attention to detail. I acquired my interest in real estate from my father who has spent many years as an investor. At the time I felt a career change was needed, becoming a realtor was a natural choice requiring the same skill set I had already acquired.
