I was born and raised in Northern Illinois in the early \342\200\23060s. Our city was, for a long time, the 2nd largest in Illinois and was well known for manufacturing, a fantastic local park district, as well as a state park, and impressive medical facilities, including a University of Illinois Medical School campus and several top-notch schools of nursing. It was not at all uncommon to hear people say that our city was a \342\200\234nice place to grow up\342\200\235 or that it was, simply, a \342\200\234wonderful place to live.\342\200\235 One of my fondest childhood memories is when my family moved from a 2 story brownstone apartment building to our first home when I was 7 years old. In retrospect, I know how proud my parents were to realize that their vision and dedication had come to fruition. Similarly, I felt the same pride and joy many years later when purchasing my first home, but have also felt the anxiety and sorrow of selling a much loved home during a divorce and after my parents\342\200\231 deaths.

Today, those are the very memories that kindle my desire to help others achieve their real estate goals. Whether you\342\200\231re a first time home buyer or seller or a \342\200\234seasoned\342\200\235 client, my goal is to provide excellent, individualized customer service through first understanding your situation and needs. Some of the necessary skills to achieve that include excellent communication, research, expectation management, negotiation, education, time management, and having a great team of other ancillary real estate pros with whom I work (lenders, closing agents, attorneys, etc.) Real estate is a full time career for me and one that I truly enjoy. My years of service in the nursing field (RN of many years) demanded the use of many of the skills mentioned above which created, for the most part, positive patient outcomes and, now, very satisfied real estate clients.
