
Larry Vavruska
Larry is a native of South Dakota, born in Gregory, South Dakota and he grew up on a farm near there. Larry has lived in Spearfish for the past 34 years. He attended Black Hills State University and received a degree in Business Education and Administration. He was the Business Manager for the Spearfish School District for 24 years, retiring in the summer of 2002. He is married to Carol and they have two sons. Kraig is in the United States Navy Stationed in Jacksonville, FL. Kraig and wife Pam have two daughters Keely Reece and Torin Lilly. Pam is a second grade teacher with the Jacksonville, FL school district. Kyle, his wife Brandy and sons Rylan and Kade, daughter Taylee live in Spearfish. Kyle has a dirt moving business; KDV Inc. and Brandy is a first grade teacher with the Spearfish School District.
Larry is an active member of the Saint Joseph's Catholic Church. He serves on the Parish Council, Lector, EM and KC. He has been a member of the Planning and Zoning for the City of Spearfish for the last 24 years. Larry also works for Isburg Funeral Chapel.
