I am a native of Berkeley County and have lived in the Eastern Panhandle of WV my entire life. My husband and I have been involved with the housing industry for more than 35 years as an award-winning custom home builder, land developer & building material supplier.
My real estate career began in 1995 when I began managing a RE/MAX franchise with focus on advertising for 5 agents who together had the largest share of real estate transactions in Berkeley County.
I returned to the industry and became a licensed Realtor in 1999 and licensed Broker in 2003.
In 1999 I was implemental in opening a new RE/MAX franchise which I managed for over 10 years, becoming the broker/owner of two RE/MAX franchises in 2005.
I have earned the GRI, ABR, cRFA and SFR designations for training in specialty fields of real estate practice.
In 2009 I joined Keller Williams Rice Realty and had the highest producing team at KW in WV.
While a member of Keller Williams I was a member of the Agent Leadership Council (top 10% sales production in the office), attended ALC regional trainings, attended Franchise Systems Orientation at the corporate offices in Austin, TX and attended annual Family Reunions. I earned the Sliver award for sales production annually. Participated in the annual KW Red Day of community service.
I was formerly employed at Rockstar Realty as an Associate Broker. Leader of the AllStar Team, I was the Listing Specialist \342\200\223 focusing on the marketing of the team\342\200\231s listings and communicating with the owners of those properties.
I recently moved to Century 21 Modern Realty Results and formed The Charlotte Sherman Team. My team members and I are passionate about providing the best customer service possible. We feel our association with Century 21 Modern Realty Results will enhance our desire to provide the best service to our clients along with creating lasting relationships with our clients through community involvement.
A member of the National Association of Realtors and local & state associations. Recognized as a member of the Top Producers Club & the Hall of Fame. Past member of the Education Committee.
A member of the National Association of Home Builders & the local and state associations. Awarded the Builder of the Year and as a Life Director on the state and local level. Active volunteer & exhibitor at the annual Home Show. I am a Past President of the local association & served as Secretary of the State Association as well as having served as Chairman of the annual Home Show presented by EPHBA.
A member of the Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce and participate in their various networking activities. A past member of the Morgan County Chamber of Commerce & volunteer at their annual golf tournament.
A life member of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority, participating in over 40 years of community service projects in the Eastern Panhandle, from the Pediatric Heart Clinic to Hospice of the Panhandle.
My family has served as a host family for the Rotary International Student Exchange Program and I am a past president of the Berkeley Springs Rotary Club.
Past member of the Board of Directors of the former Care Pregnancy Center of the Eastern Panhandle. Past volunteer with United Way Day of Caring Mega Food Drive.
I have been told by former clients that the most important aspects that I, personally bring to the table for my clients is the knowledge that comes with having grown up in this area, my experiences from building custom homes and the housing industry in general, along with my knowledge of real estate marketing in all media and attention to small details to get my contracts to closing. Each member of our team contributes their personal strengths to every transaction, to provide a satisfactory experience for all our clients.
