It takes a lot of hard work, dedication and determination to be a Realtor, business owner and a Registered Nurse. Denni Backstrom of CENTURY 21 Affiliated in Eau Claire, Wisconsin is all of this and more. Originally from the Shenandoah Valley of beautiful Virginia, Denni grew up in a family of builders and real estate agents. Denni's father, a builder and CENTURY 21 agent taught her that hard work along with exceptional customer service is the key to success. Denni moved to the Chippewa Valley in 2002 with her husband, Josh (who is from the area) and two sons, Steven and Spencer. Denni and Josh owned a small construction company at the time. Denni worked as an RN at Mayo Clinic in Eau Claire while helping in the business. In 2007 they purchased Steamatic, a Fire and Water Restoration company that also does Carpet and Air Duct cleaning. She continued to work in the business helping with Operations and Employees all while maintaining their construction company and working part-time in the Emergency Department. Late in 2007 Denni and Josh added a third son, Cole. When Denni and her husband decided to start building homes to sell, it seemed like a good fit to become a REALTOR\303\202\302\256. In 2017 Denni got her license and has been working as a proud and successful member at CENTURY 21 Affiliated in Eau Claire/Altoona ever since. Denni especially enjoys helping young couples find their first home but also enjoys listing and selling lake homes. Denni's vast experience in homes large and small, new and old as well as restored, comes from her many years of helping in the family business with her father and in the last 20 years with her husband. To an outsider it would appear that Denni is all work and no play, not so! Ask her about all the wonderful spots to hike and snowshoe or places to kayak, boat and fish.
