
Joe Burns
After a long and successful career serving his country in federal service in the security field for five different federal agencies, Joseph Burns has partnered with his Realtor wife, Kristin Burns, to further the growth and expansion of her successful real estate business that she began in 2003. Joseph holds a BS degree from Barton College in Wilson, NC where he majored in Political Science and Social Studies and played collegiate soccer. Upon graduation, Joseph wanted to serve his country and began a career of public service where he rose to the rank of a senior security manager. He brings 30+ years of federal civilian experience along with superior customer service skills and management experience to join and team up with his wife, Kristin Burns. Joseph and Kristin are based out of the Montclair area of Dumfries where they live and work while serving clients from Arlington south to Fredericksburg and west towards Leesburg. Joseph and Kristin have been married for 30+ years with two daughters, Victoria and Megan. Joseph is an active member in the Northern Virginia community having previously coached rec league and travel soccer in Northern Virginia. He is also active on his local church Parish Council and in a men's fraternal volunteer organization. In his free time, Joseph likes to go to the gym, travel, read, watch Premier League Soccer, and walk their dog "Guster."
