Born and raised in Bergen County, NJ, John Massari, a Broker Associate with Century 21 Christel Realty, has embraced Sussex County as his home for over three decades. Prior to embarking on his real estate journey, John soared the skies as a corporate pilot, accumulating over 40 years of experience in flight instruction and holding numerous FAA ratings, including Airline Transport Pilot and Flight Instruction for both single and multi-engine aircraft.
Following a challenging personal home closing experience, John found himself intrigued by the prospect of transitioning into real estate. Obtaining his realtor license two decades ago, John further solidified his commitment to the industry by earning his Broker\342\200\231s license in 2009. Drawing from his extensive aviation background, John recognized the opportunity to seamlessly apply his meticulous, step-by-step pilot training approach to his real estate career. He utilizes this process to ease the inherent stress of home transactions, by recognizing the importance of transparent communication and attentively listening to his clients' needs.

Residing in Wantage with his wife and two college-age sons, John finds joy in flying, kayaking, and hiking. He has made a lasting impact on the real estate landscape, having served as the past president of the local association of realtors and chaired the education committee for several years. Additionally, his representation of the interests of over 18,000 independent realtor members on the GSMLS board of managers underscores his unwavering dedication to advancing the industry.
