Tivives is a beach that belongs to the Caldera district of the Esparza canton, Puntarenas province, Costa Rica.

This beach is located 27 kilometers west of the city of Orotina, province of Alajuela, and 10 kilometers southeast of Caldera beach, Esparza. The road from Route 27 is paved.

Beach located at the mouth of the Jesús María River. It has a size of 3.6 km, it is made of dark sands. It has a mangrove area declared a Biological Reserve. It has vegetation along the coast interspersed with housing, promontories in the southeastern part.

Tivives Beach not only offers sun and sea but other types of recreation such as fishing, boat trips through the mangrove channels, horseback riding, beach sports and due to its strong waves it is ideal for surfing.

Access to the property is a completely paved road, a street with only one entrance and exit.
