Tamodi Lodge/House is a Masterpiece and has been skilfully designed and built to capture the magnificent, panoramic views of the Outeniqua mountain range and the valley below. Offering 7 large, luxury suites the exceptional scale and magnificence of the Lodge is apparent not only in the room proportions, but also in the detail with which they have been finished, all which create an ambience of privacy, peace, tranquillity and relaxation. This is further augmented by the Lodge’s four separate living spaces: the main lodge, two spacious free-standing, one-bedroom lodge’s and another separate, 2-bedroom lodge.
The spectacular Main Lodge/House is comprised of 3 spacious and luxurious bedrooms en-suites all of which have private deck areas inviting you to relax and enjoy the breath-taking views. The expansive open plan living area with double volume ceilings, comprises of 3 lounges, a fully equipped Farmhouse kitchen with a Smeg Oven and 7 plate hob, a walk in pantry, a large scullery and laundry. Extensive indoor and outdoor entertainment area with an impressive built in braai area/wood fireplace, expansive wooden deck and sparking rim flow swimming pool. Downstairs from the wooden deck is a bespoke, refrigerated wine cellar perfect for wine tasting.
The two separate and free-standing, one-bedroom lodges blend seamlessly with the natural environment and offer privacy and comfort. The well-designed wooden deck areas invite you to relax and enjoy the breath-taking views of the private nature reserve. Each lodge has its own walk-in cupboards with well equipped Kitchenette, cosy wood fireplace and air conditioner as well as stone baths that overlook stunning valley views. All of this adds to the lodge’s overall impression of luxury, comfort and relaxation.
As you enter the 2-bedroom lodge through the Rhodesian Teak double door you are immediately impressed with the high-volume ceilings and large windows as well as their exposed feature rock walls which create a sense of being immersed in nature. Each of the two spacious bedrooms have their own private plunge pool and outside deck area offering sweeping views of the surrounding valley. Both bedrooms have an air conditioner and fireplace, ensuring comfort and relaxation at all times.

Main House:
The Beautiful, Modern, Stylish and Contemporary home nestled in a tranquil setting, boasts picturesque mountain and valley views and is merely a stroll away from the Country Lodge. The Spacious Double storey home with high end finishes throughout offers plenty of living space and comfort, featuring 4 large bedroom en-suites with built in cupboards. Upstairs is the grand master bedroom en-suite with its own private patio with incredible, uninterrupted views. The large open plan living space has plenty modern features, which include a built-in braai, a stylish kitchen with gas hob and electric oven, a separate scullery and laundry. There is also a large lounge/dining room area with stacking sliding glass doors which extends the entertainment area onto a wooden deck, sparkling swimming pool and outdoor built in braai. Additional features of the property are a guest bathroom an open double garage with ample parking space, and the home is fully solar powered.

Second House:
The Classy African home is designed with an eye for class, style, privacy and comfort. A single storey home with a seamless easy flow of living. A spacious open plan fully equipped kitchen, separate scullery and laundry, lounge and dinning room. The Stately Tamodi Lodge & Stables prides itself in a competitive livery yard with tip top stables designed to take up to 8 horses comfortably. The Estate includes a riding and show jumping arena which is used for training riders and practising for events. Several of the Estates’ students have successfully competed at top levels in their chosen disciplines, a proud achievement.
