I was born and raised in Columbia, and I can confidently say that I know all the ins and outs of this wonderful, multifaceted, and continuously evolving city! I hold a bachelor and masters degree in Criminal Justice that I received from the University of Central Missouri, where I also played collegiate soccer. I previously worked in insurance subrogation for over 10 years, specializing in product liability\342\200\224a position that left me with a web of knowledge that I\342\200\231ve been able to carry over into the real estate world. I decided to make a career change over four years ago when I felt it was time to follow my passion for homes, interior design, and working directly with people. It was February 2019 when I made that leap of faith and jumped all in, and looking back, I can easily say it was one of the best decisions I\342\200\231ve ever made. In my first year, I became a multi-million dollar producing agent and was awarded rookie of the year by my brokerage. I\342\200\231ve been able to increase my level of production with every year that passes, which has provided me with the experience needed to be a trusted agent and allowed me to seamlessly blend my passion for homes and commitment to helping people.
While being a real estate agent is my profession by trade, I strive to go above and beyond that title. What I feel truly distinguishes me from other agents is my intuitive approach. I pride myself on listening to my clients, not just to their words, but the aspirations behind them. I understand that buying or selling a home isn\342\200\231t just a transaction for most people\342\200\224it can be a life-changing decision. Picking the right home can be an emotional process, as can selling a home where you\342\200\231ve spent most of your days, nights and weekends making cherished memories with friends and loved ones. I understand that there are a lot of thoughts and feelings involved, and a lot of hard decisions have to be made.
