How can I help you≠ There are many advantages to working with a Realtor. We are licensed professionals who take 18 hours of continuing education determined by the State of Wisconsin every 2 years. I am privileged to get additional training weekly from my Broker. The benefit to you, my client, is that everything relating to your real estate transaction is up to date. When you are ready to go, we can hit the ground running. What do I like about real estate≠ I started my working career as a high school English teacher. I only did it for a short time. Actually only 1 year. I discovered spending my days in a classroom was not what I wanted. When my husband said, "Let's start a building company," I knew that was it. I love watching a hole in the ground become a home. And there's nothing quite like the before and after of a remodeling project. But the best thing is looking at an existing home and seeing if what it has to offer will make a buyer happy. I once looked at 42 houses with a Buyer until we found THE ONE, and all those 41 other houses were fun to see, but when you find the right one, you just know. To be a part of that experience is the best. Helping a Seller set their house up to tell a buyer "Pick Me" is a wonderful privilege. Every home has its own story, its own personality, its own ability to welcome someone new. I enjoy the process of helping a Seller help their house to speak its story. My sometimes crazy, sometimes challenging, always eventful life. I am from Illinois. I prefer the term flatlander to some of the less glamourous terms you hear. I have been in Wisconsin since 1973 so I claim full Wisconsinite status. I have been married since 1984 to Leon Church. I mention his name only because it seems everyone knows him, which means everyone knows me as Leon's wife. It's okay, I'm used to it. I am a stepmother to two girls now women, grandmother to 5 girls and 1 boy, great grandmother to 3 girls and 1 boy. (That's kind of a lot of girls.) Two live in Minneapolis, the rest are all in the Valley and regularly part of my life. I am blessed. I am a dog mom. Fur babies are awesome. I have a Standard Poodle (Oliver) and a Toy Poodle (Chloe). They are my sanity monitors. They look like doodles because I like them fuzzy. We do agility--jumps, tunnels, A-frames, teeter totters. So much fun. I keep a little piece of my heart in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.
