Beth had the privilege of being born and raised in Mattoon, Illinois. She loves the Midwest and all that it has to offer. She graduated with a major in Family and Consumer Science from Eastern Illinois University. After college she moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue career options in customer service and retail management. Having a desire to return to Coles County to raise a family and serve her hometown community, Beth and her husband, Nathan relocated back to Illinois where he took a job as the Principal of Mattoon Middle School and Beth serves as the Deputy Director of the Mattoon Public Library.
